Feeling magical

Good afternoon!

Today has been so busy that I am just now getting a break. Bailey was up at 6:30 (actually I heard her at 6am but she was playing) and managed to get out the door by 7am. I did 4.5 miles which turned out to be so pleasant. I ran a bit but mostly walked. Cori was ready for her turn when I got back just after 8am. The kids were eating breakfast and Bailey was playing in her playpen so I did 15 min of abs and arms. I hurried to vacuum and mop before Cori got back. We had about 30 min to get ready for Harry Potter. The kids were so excited! My mom and aunt Cheryl got her just before 10 to watch Bailey. It was so nice to go out just the 4 of us. I did miss Bailey but the boys needed some alone time. And, we got to take Cori’s FJ Cruiser! Oh yea, no mini van for us today.

The movie was fantastic! Chase fell asleep half way through and woke up right towards the end. Ryan was chatting it up the whole time. Too much excitement to keep in I suppose. Cori and I didn’t get a chance to eat before we left the house so we shared a soft pretzel and I had some of Chase’s popcorn. The movie didn’t seem long at all but it started at 10:40 and didn’t finish until 1:20. Wowzers. As we left the theatre we saw the storm outside. Cori had to run to the car to drive it up closer. We all still got pretty wet.

By the time we got home I was ready to chew off my arm! The kids had some left over pizza and I used up the rest of the lettuce, tomato and onion to have a taco salad. It was really good. I heated up the (turkey) taco meat and added 1 tbl 2% taco cheese, 1 tsp fat free sour cream and 1 tbl salsa. I also tossed in a few baked scoops to make it more taco like. Cori left to go to the high school to work and was going to get something on the way.

I already have dinner on my mind. I’m thinking turkey sausage and cabbage. Don’t ask me why but it sounds good. Hopefully Cori makes it home in time and we can all have dinner together. The next 3 days she’ll be gone a lot so it will be nice to have her here. My mom is still on vacation and said she is going to come hang out some the next few days. =)

Hope everyone is having a great day! See you after dinner,

ashley

Master Cleanse

Good morning!

We had a great family day yesterday. It’s hard for me to blog when Cori is off. I woke up at 6:30am and after Bailey’s bottle I went for a 4.5 mile jog. It was nice in the sense that it was the first run here in a while but it was so hot and humid. Almost too hot in fact. About 2 miles in I had to take a break to walk and catch my breath. The humid air can make it hard to catch my breath sometimes. I made it back to the house around 8am and Cori took off for her own run. While she was gone I showered and got the kids ready to go to Laurie’s pool. I let Bailey take her nap until it was time to leave. I snacked on some fruit and a South Beach Diet Protein Bar while I ran around the house.

The pool was great as always. Our friend Tammy came over with her boyfriend and their 2 kids. There was 6 kids there all together! Lucky for us 3 are still babies and don’t do that much. Bailey spent a while in the pool and took a nap in her car seat. The boys didn’t stop swimming until it was time for lunch and then jumped right back in until we left at 3:30pm. I packed us all turkey sandwiches for lunch. I also packed fruit, granola bars, chips and beer for Cori and I. =) I ended up having 4 MGD 64s. I don’t know if it was the space between them or that they are just pretty light but I didn’t feel like I had 4 at all. We stopped by the grocery store on the way home to pick up some milk and the ingredients for The Master Cleanse. Cori got some chicken wing, chicken fingers and some mac and cheese for her and the boys. Sort of a last meal I guess. She is really worried about the fasting part of the cleanse. ( I am too a little) I wasn’t really that hungry for dinner. I felt a little bloated from the beer and just picked on some stuff in the kitchen.

Now for The Master Cleanse.

I found an article in a magazine about The Master Cleanse. It is a way to “clean” out and detoxify your body. Weight loss is a side effect of eliminating waste and toxin’s from your body. Losing weight is a plus but not the purpose for us doing this cleanse. I know there are tons of detox fads out there but this has been around for decades. There are hundreds of websites on the Master Cleanse.

What is the master cleanse?
Wikipedia has the following description: “The Master Cleanse, also known as the Lemon Cleanse and the Maple Syrup Diet, is a dieting program created by Stanley Burroughs in 1941 and made popular by Peter Glickmanthrough his book Lose Weight, Have More Energy and Be Happier in 10 Days, which promotes Burroughs’ regimen to a modern audience. Burroughs states that it is a detoxification program that aids in the removal of harmful toxins from within the body, as well as a reducing diet for loss of weight, a cure for ulcers and “every kind of disease,” resulting in “the correction of all disorders.

With that said, last night Cori and I made our first batch of the lemonade. We each gave it a little sample and honestly it’s not that bad. I thought the Cayenne pepper would be too much to handle but it’s alright. Now, the gross part. You are eliminating solid foods from your diet that would normally push out waste but since this liquid diet doesn’t do this on it’s own it is necessary to help it along. *uh hum* There is 2 ways to achieve this. One way is to drink a laxative tea at night before you go to bed, to sort of help loosen things up. The other way is to do a salt water flush. This is where you drink 32oz of water with 2 tsp of non-iodized Kosher salt either in the morning or evening. Both will produce an elimination, the tea just takes longer and can be a bit unpredictable. Gross I know but it’s a small price to pay to clean out our systems that we have polluted.

Things I hope to achieve with The Master Cleanse.

One of the outcomes most seem to achieve while doing this cleanse is that they feel healthier. I have been aiming to get healthier for quite a few months now and although I feel healthy overall I know that I can feel better. Also, many people boast about the improvements in skin tone and complexion. I’ve never really had bad skin but pollution in the air and chemicals in our food can leave my skin feeling uneven and unpredictable. I want to undo the damage I have done to my body over the years and feel clean from the inside out. The weight loss is a plus but like I said, it is not my main goal. I also read that unless you majorly transform your diet, once you start eating regular food again you gain about 50% of it back. I’m ok with that, I’ve been losing weight on my own with diet and exercise anyhow.

Cori was excited to try it with me after I told her about it on Friday. She hasn’t had to change her diet at all so she is worried about missing her Taco Bell and other un-healthy foods. haha The goal is to complete 10 days. Some people have gone 40! I don’t know if I’m that hardcore. ( I might be happy to make it just a few days) I woke up this morning at 1am, after drinking my laxative tea before bed, in extreme abdominal pain. I mean whoa! I broke out in a cold sweat and felt rather nauseous. By 2:30am I was back in bed and exhausted. I don’t think I’ll be doing the tea again. It is much to hard on my system. Hopefully the salt water flush isn’t quite as intense. By 7:30am I was sipping on my first glass of the lemonade. Listen people, it isn’t that bad. It tastes like lemonade with a kick.

I already miss my green monster smoothie and the kids waffles smell like heaven. I have to keep the goal in mind and not let my will power fail me. Hopefully I make it to the other side of this journey feeling stronger, healthier and perhaps a few pounds lighter. =)

Here’s what it looks like:

The ingredients, Grade B organic pure maple syrup, Cayenne pepper and fresh lemon juice.

All mixed up and ready to go.

And for the not so pleasant part  that I will start tomorrow morning, the salt water flush. 32 oz container and sea salt.

summer vacation 09 003

I am nervous and excited all at the same time. I’m really looking forward to day 3. That’s when I am supposed to see the biggest difference.

I would normally say “see you for lunch,” but you already know what breakfast, lunch and dinner looks like for the next 10 days! haha I will be back though to update my progress and let you know what’s going on in the life of mom of 3. =)

Taco Night

Good evening!

We had a great day today. The boys and I went to the zoo for a few hours with 3 of their baseball team mates. The other mom and myself had our very own little summer camp. (or so it looked) 5 kids under 6 is quite interesting. =) They were all well behaved little men. After 2 hours of walking around, we took a break for some lunch. I packed turkey sandwiches for the boys and myself and gave the boys some cheddar cheese pringles too. Lunch was only interesting for about 5 min before they set off to the fountains. It was so hot out I don’t blame them. I drank 2 20 oz bottle waters while I was there. I don’t know how I didn’t float out of there. haha

We stopped by Laurie’s house on the way home to drop off the clothes sent from her friend in Gerogia. Laurie’s oldest daughter and husband are visiting family and she was glad to have some company. They boys also enjoyed playing with all her toys while she wasn’t there. We didn’t stay long and were back to the house in time to relieve my mom. My aunt Cheryl is comming in town tonight and my mom was ready to spend time with her sister.

I promised Cori taco’s tonight and I didn’t let her down.

Close up of the toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, and fat free sour cream. (cori picked up 2% cheese on her way home)

summer vacation 09 013

Ground turkey with low sodium taco seasoning.

summer vacation 09 014

I let the kids and Cori have the taco shells and soft tortilla’s and I went with a taco salad. Romaine lettuce, tomato, onion, cucumber, ( not a great taste combination with taco salad f.y.i.) a tiny bit of 2% cheese, 1 tsp fat free sour cream, 1/4 cup of taco meat and 1 tsp taco sauce.

summer vacation 09 018

It was so yummy (minus the cucumber, it was just weird) but I couldn’t finish all of it. My eyes were definitely bigger than my belly with this one.

Good news!!!!! I am fitting into all my old clothes! I decided to try on some of my shorts, skirts and jeans that I haven’t been able to fit in to since before I got pregnant. Actually I don’t think they even fit me that well back then. To my surprise they fit! What an amazing feeling. I still have a few areas that I need to work on and after seeing my hard work pay off today, I know I can stay on course to getting fit. There is still 2 pairs of shorts that fit but I wouldn’t wear out. haha Anyone know what I’m talking about? I told Cori that I am officially out of back up clothes so when this round gets too big it will be time to go shopping. Whoo hoo!

We’re going to Laurie’s pool tomorrow with the kids. Even Cori! I am so excited. Cori picked up some beer to sip on while relaxing by the pool. She broke into one tonight and said it was delicious. I stuck with water.

summer vacation 09 017

Sam Adams is getting all sorts of fruity.

Have a great night. See you for breakfast.

ps-Laurie, Cori and myself are going to be starting the Master Cleanse on Sunday. I’ll fill you in more about it tomorrow when I purchase the ingredients.

We’re Back!!

Hello and good evening!

I am so sorry it’s been over a week since my last post. We had a GREAT vacation. I was going to  blog while we were gone but decided to cherish the 7 days with Cori and the kids. We got back Tuesday at 6pm. Since I didn’t go grocery shopping before we left, I had to run to the store before I could relax from the drive. $350.00 later and 1.5 hours later, I was back home. (yes, $350.00!!) The sad part is I still feel like we need more.       =(   After unloading and putting everything away, Cori and I grabbed a Corona Light and watched True Blood in bed. It was a good one. 3 beers later and I was a little silly. opps. I think it was lack of food and too much beer. It’s alright though, we had a fun just the 2 of us.

I was going to blog about the trip Wednesday morning but my internet was down. Go figure!! Ugh, I was so upset. I finally got online (or so I thought) and wrote almost a whole blog when I lost the connection. I was so frustrated. I called Comcast and they came out to fix it today. Yay! I am connected again.

Now…..about our trip. Man did we enjoy ourselves. We left a day early (Tuesday night) and drove for 3 hours before getting a room at the Holiday Inn  in Gainsville. We were up and on the road before 9am. We stopped at Starbucks for a quick pick me up and I got some oatmeal. If you like oatmeal and haven’t tried theirs yet, it was good. They give you dried fruit, mixed nuts and brown sugar to top it off. It was just about lunch time when we got to my grandma’s and we were hungry! We all had turkey sandwiches and some kettle cooked chips. That night for dinner we had some slow cooked pork roast. It was yummy. I had a big salad and a small piece of the pork. (oh, and 1 small red potato) The next morning we headed to the Georgia Aquarium. It was Bailey’s first time and our 2nd time going. The boys were so excited to see the whale sharks.

summer vacation 09 051

Yea, it’s not easy to get all 3 of them looking at the camera (and smiling) all at the same time. You’ll also notice I don’t have pictures of my food because I told Cori “No Blogging.” Lunch at the Aquarium was pretty lame. Nothing too healthy so I had some granola and a apple that I brought with us. After a few hours we walked over to the Coke-Cola factory. I could have skipped it for the $50 it cost us all to get in but the kids and Cori loved it. They had 64 Coke products out for sampling. I made sure to only try a few and just a sip at that. Chase didn’t use the same caution and ended up not feeling so hot. Cori and I decided to walk through Centennial park before we drove the hour back to Grandma’s. When we got back to the house she had Shepard’s Pie waiting for us. Oh it was soooooo good. Shepard’s Pie is one of my favorites. Friday morning we woke up and I had this yummy bowl of Oatmeal, a banana and 1/2 cup of coffee. Oats were Kashi Truely Vanilla brought from home. (okay so I snuck in a picture! haha)

summer vacation 09 152

It was just what I needed to get me through the day at the Atlanta Zoo. That is one of the best Zoo’s ever. Lunch options there were about the same as the Aquarium, pretty lame and unhealthy. Cori even agreed this time and we both snacked on some Natures Valley Granola. We left the Zoo around 2ish and went to the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Atlanta. I was bad and ordered a burger and a ice cold Stella on tap. The burger was heaven and worth every calorie. Bailey got to sit in her first high chair and was quite proud of herself. I was pretty impressed myself.

summer vacation 09 169

Ah, I love these people.

summer vacation 09 172

I skipped dinner back at the house due to the late lunch/early dinner burger. =) Saturday morning we packed it up and drove to Clarkesville to their other house. 2 hours later Cori was taking the boys on an adventure walk in the woods and I was taking a nap with Bailey. I decided not to work out this day and opted instead to have a few drinks. hehe. Cori and I got a 6 pack of mix and match beers from ingles. I LOVE INGLES! Oh my goodness, they have everything. As Greg says, “Ingles Rocks!” Get this, you can make your own peanut, cashew, and almond butter. Doesn’t get any fresher than that. Oh, and bulk bins with oats and granola. We need to get an ingles down here. Whew, anyways. I made 2 big pizza’s and 3 small pizza’s for dinner. 1 small one for each of the boys, 1 small one for Greg, 1 big fresca pizza (fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, spinach and mushrooms) and 1 big cheese and pepperoni pizza for grandma. We had a lot of pizza left over.

Sunday we all went to the Tallulah Gorge. What a beautiful place. We got to see some amazing waterfalls andwalk over 1000 stepsto the bottom of the Gorge. We found out once we were there that you can get a permit and actually go in the water! How cool is that? Next time we are so going to get a permit. I carried Bailey in the sling the whole time and boy was I feeling it on the way back up the stairs. Cori was in charge of the boys. (who both did awesome) Dinner that night was burgers and since I had just had one, I made myself a big salad  and had just a bit of the meat with some mustard. Monday we all went to Helen andwalked around. All the shoppes and restaurants are old German style and really neat to look at. We didn’t buy anything because it was all really expensive and touristy. (is that even a word? sorry)  We left Clarkesville that night and headed back to their house in Mc Donough. We were all packed and ready to leave in the morning. I said my goodbyes that night because I knew we would be leaving early. Cori and I were not ready to come home yet. We were out the door by 7am and after a quick stop in Orlando to have lunch with Katy and Janet (and 11 hours later) we were home. Ahhh, so there you have it. It was a much needed and appreaciated vacation for my family.

Yesterday morning I spent the day unpacking, cutting the grass, weeding the back yard and cleaning the house. I  think I used up every bit of energy I had. Well, I couldn’t stop to blog so what else was I suppose to do? haha. One thing I did miss that I hit up first thing was my Green Monster smoothie! I had one yesterday and this morning.

summer vacation 09 361

This was where I was sitting yesterday morning when I realized my Internet wasn’t working. How sad right? Today has been just as busy. I fixed the sprinklers in the back and front yard, my mom came to visit for a few hours and  my friend Tammy who just moved back from South Carolina came by too. She brought her fiance, daughter Coral and her new baby Hendrix. It is now 9:40pm and I am just as tired as I was last night. Tomorrow will start back to normal. The boys and I are meeting up with a couple boys and their mom from their baseball team. GO RED SOCKS! My mom is coming over to sit with Bailey. I’m looking forward to spending some q.t. time with my boys.

See you for breakfast,

ashley

ps- I didn’t realize how much I would miss blogging. Yikes!

Not lost

HELLO!!

So, my Internet has been down for 2 days. I tried everything to fix it except call Comcast to come out and repair it. They charge $40 to come and we wanted to give it another day. YAY! I woke up this morning and it’s working. I don’t get it but I’m happy it’s working. I feel like I’ve missed so many days I don’t know where to begin. Lets see…..

4th of July:

We had a great time. I made dinner for all of us before we headed downtown to watch the fireworks. Dinner was chicken, black beans and rice and garlic bread. I didn’t have any fresh veggies and only can corn so we skipped them tonight.

 My plate.

pics 057

The fireworks were great. Lake Worth always does a great job. We met up with my mom, Laurie, her kids and her mom. We set up our chairs and blanket right on the water and waited for the show. The boys got some soft serve vanilla ice cream. ($3 a pop!) Cori and I brought a bottle of Merlot and some solo cups. haha. We finished the bottle between the 2 of us in 2.5 hours. I didn’t finish my last cup so I had about 1 1/2 cups maybe? I’m not sure because I just keep pouring small amounts so I wouldn’t spill any.

pics 105

This was Bailey’s first 4th of July. I was nervous about how she would act being up so late. She is so use to her routine and is ready for bed by 7:30pm. She did great! When the fireworks stared she could care less. Cori was holding her and trying to get her to look but she turned her head and went to sleep! Guess she wasn’t so impressed.

pics 111

The boys sat on the blanket with my mom for the whole show.

pics 104

We made it home and were all in bed before 10:30pm.

Now the last 2 days…… let’s see

I started Sunday morning with the biggest Green Monster ever! I needed it too.

pics 002

I’m having a serious block as to what I did the rest of Sunday.Oh wait I remember, I cleaned everything! I went through Bailey’s closet, the boys closet and all of their clothes. I have 2 big bags of clothes for my nephew Ethan and 2 big bags for Lauries little girl Steffi. When Cori got home she cut the grass and I vacuumed and moped the house. For dinner I made a ground turkey Sheperds Pie. It was so yummy. Browned ground turkey with sauteed onions, creamed corn, green beans, mashed potatoes and 2 % cheddar melted on top. I have pictures but am having difficulty uploading them. Sorry.

Yesterday I woke up and did Jillian Michaels Shred Level 1. When I finished the kids and I went to the park for 3 hours. I got in about an hour of brisk walking while the kids rode their scooters. We left just before lunch time to come home. We all had turkey sandwiches. The kids had yogurt and cheese puffs too. After lunch we went to Lauries house. I wanted to drop off the baby clothes before we leave tomorrow for our vacation. The kids played for a couple hours before we came home for nap time. Bailey and Chase slept for a  while, Ryan and I sat on the couch watching a movie. I made a big salad, a sweet potato and chicken nuggets for the boys. I ate about 1/3 of my salad and when my sweet potato was done I sent my salad packin! I just wasn’t feeling it. I put a few sprays of my “fake” butter and 2 tsp of brown sugar. It was delicious. Cori ate 1/4 that I couldn’t finish. I haven’t had a sweet potato like that in so long. It was warm, sweet and hit the spot.

Today I was up at 6:30am. Bailey was up just after. I fed her and got straight to working out. I knew I had to get it in early if I wanted to fit it in today. I went with Jillian Michaels Shred level 2. Man that chick kicks my butt. In a good way of course. I took a few extra minutes at the end to really stretch. I’m feeling really good about where I’m at but I don’t want to get to comfortable because I still have 20 lbs to go. I made myself a GM and drank it while Bailey and the kids had their breakfast. Today is going to be a busy one.

To do list.

  1. Clean house ( I know I just did it but it’s never ending)
  2. Pack my bag
  3. Pack all 3 kids bag
  4. Finish all the laundry
  5. Bake oatmeal raisin cookies for trip
  6. Make sure house is ready to be shut down for the next week.

I think my mom is coming over today so that will be nice. I could use the company. (and help!)

See you for lunch,

ashley

Breakfast for Dinner

Hola!

I’ve had quite the busy day. The boys and I ate a quick lunch and went to the park. I had my last Lean Cuisine. It was Sesame Chicken with noodles. 330 cal, and way too much sodium. I took some pictures but my battery is dead. (surprise, surprise)

The kids and I left to the park at 12:30pm. We brought their scooters and helmets with us. They had so much fun. The trail around the park is more miles than the kids could do but we still managed to do almost 2 miles. I’m only guessing, we were going for about an hour. When they were tired with the scooters we walked over to the park. They have this really cool water fountain area that was just what they needed. I didn’t bring any suits so they played in their shorts. They had fun and that’s all that matters. We headed home just before 3pm for nap time.

Cori was feeding Bailey when we got home. The kids and I were ready for a snack. Ryan had some fruit snacks ,(transformer!) Chase and I both had a granola bar. The boys went down for a nap and Cori, Bailey and I layed down in our bed to watch some t.v. I thought for sure Bailey would take a nap too but she wasn’t tired I guess. I fell asleep for a little bit though. =) Damn afternoon naps sneeking up on me.

Dinner was a wash tonight. Cori had Taco Bell at 4pm so she wasn’t hungry. The boys wanted breakfast for dinner and I didn’t feel like cooking so that worked out perfect. They both had waffles and I had oatmeal. I haven’t been eating as many oats because it’s too darn hot out but oats for dinner works nice. I had 1 pack Kashi Truly Vanilla, 1 tbs brown sugar, 1 tsp almond butter (the last of it) and the last bit of Kashi Cocoa Beach granola. It was warm, filling and delicious.

Cori works the next 4 days until we leave on Wednesday. 40 hours in 4 days is hard when you’re out on the beach. She’ll be ready to leave come Wednesday morning. We all will be ready. I’m having a hard time not going grocery shopping, it’s slim pickins here. It makes meal times kinda interesting when there isn’t much to choose from. It’s almost always a surprise. haha

Tomorrow is the 4th of July. We don’t have any big plans. Hope everyone has a safe and fun holiday.

See you for breakfast,

ashley

ps- I’ll charge my camera tonight so I can upload some pics.

Update: Lunch

M.I.A.

Hey, sorry to be missing yesterday. Before lunch I ended up working in the back yard for a couple of hours. I was completely covered in dirt. Our weeds were beginning to take over! I couldn’t even finish it all yesterday. The boys wanted hot dogs for lunch and I made myself half a sandwich and a 100 cal bag of chips.

My lame turkey sandwich with spicy mustard on a piece of whole wheat bread.

from alicia 001

I didn’t think I was going to be outside for so long and used up all my “extra” time that I would normally use to make something better. I think I just about drank my weight in water too, I was sweating like crazy. I never did get to working out yesterday but I think all the yard work was a good trade.

After we were all fed and I took a shower, I got the kids ready for a nap. My not so filling lunch left me hungry and while the kids slept I snacked on a Natures Valley PB granola bar.

I forgot how much I like these things.

from alicia 002

I started out watching some show on VH1 and the next thing I know it’s almost 5pm! I had fallen asleep for almost 1 1/2 hours. I haven’t taken a nap like that during the day since I was pregnant. It was great and awful all at the same time. I guess I needed it but I woke up feeling like I was dragging. I was also in a rush to start dinner. Luckily I already had some chicken defrosted and I started with that.

Dinner was as follows: Baked chicken fingers coated in special K cereal and Mrs. Dash table blend, mashed potatoes and cooked apples.

Here’s my plate that I ended up not finishing. Cori was still hungry so I gave her 1 piece of chicken and 1/2 of my apples.

from alicia 003

I had about 2 tbs of ketchup for dipping too. The apples were ok but not my favorite. I used 3 Fuji apples and I think a more sour apple would have been better. The chicken on the other hand was great! I crushed about 2 cups (which was actually too much) of Special K cereal in a gallon sized ziploc bag, poured the crumbs on to a plate and added the Mrs. Dash Table Blend. I trimmed the fat off the chicken, pounded 2 chicken breasts until they were even and cut them into strips. I rinsed the strips with water then coated them in the crumb mixture. Baked at 375* for about 30 min. The kids were excited to eat cereal on their chicken.

After dinner Cori and I watched Troy and the kids all went to bed. I had a hard time falling asleep but I slept good after that. Bailey was up at 6:20am. Cori was still tired and didn’t feel like working out so I was on my own. I didn’t realize how much yard work really worked you out. My legs are so sore. My back is even sore. I tried to do Jillian Michaels No more trouble Zones but I just wasn’t feeling it. I found a few other videos that I tried but either my legs or my arms would start to burn. After about 40 min of trying different videos, I decided to do 10 min of abs. By the time I was done Cori was up. I took my car to down the street and vacuumed it out. It was so gross. I figured I should clean it before our vacation on Wednesday. =) When I got home I realized I still hadn’t eaten anything yet and had a South Beach Diet PB bar. ( and a big glass of h2o)

Cori was getting ready to finish up the back yard. Seeing that I was already sweaty and dirty I helped too. I had all but 1 part of the fence done; (pulling weeds) she pulled those weeds. I sprayed round up along the patio and in the front of the house. I finally got to use the gas blower. Oh yea, that was fun. It vibrates so much it’s almost hard to hold on to. Really makes “sweeping” off the patio so much easier.

I am not sure what our plans are for today. We are trying not to spend money seeing as we’re leaving soon. Lunch time is in 30min so I should get the ball rolling.

See you for lunch,

ashley
